After graduating from the University of Genk, Jan Hoekstra worked for several years at FLEX\the INNOVATIONLAB. In 1993 he joined Gijs Bakker at the Design Academy. He is currently Design Manager for Unilever and has his own studio, Jan Hoekstra BVBA, working on projects for well known Dutch brands.
